One of the first questions I get, is "What should we wear?" Here I will show examples from some sittings that should help you get a feel for how you would like to dress for the photo session.
Do not be afraid to wear colors like this picture to the left, look how much this picture "pops!" If your family wants to wear different colors, I say go for it.
Jeans and white shirts all matching is very popular. And not everyone has to have a button down to make it look nice. Its all preference here and obviously a lot depends on where the picture is going to be hung.
Traditional: White shirts, khaki pants. Always a popular favorite.
Consistent with jeans, the women wear one color top and the men another color. This is always a popular theme.
Now what a difference from the same color combinations right! This again looks really nice, everyone is in their own color shirts and pants. And the colors really seem to stand out and make for a beautiful picture. Just remember, the summer shots have to look relaxed for them to look right.
This is a great look, the parents dressed in the black shirts and jeans, and their kids and grandson dressed in the white shirts and jeans....I like this look.
These guys already did the traditional outfits one year, now they decided to add some color. Great job with the orange and green colors!
Same family two years later, love the choices.
This is a good one...you can actually pick out what kids are with what family by their shirts, each family color co-ordinated.
This is popular for big reunion pictures.
Now here's an idea, don't worry about what you wear! How great does this picture look! If you notice, not one person is color co-ordinated. It's all about how you want to go about it. If everyone is giving you a hard time about colors, just let them dress their own way and the pictures will still come out fantastic.
